St. Joseph students learn about fire safety

Kindergarten through third grade students participated in a fire safety presentation given by firefighters Natalie and Rob from the Prescott Fire Department on Tuesday, Oct. 9. The students learned about what to do in case of a fire at home, where their safe meeting place is, what to do if they catch on fire, the importance of a smoke alarm and the importance of stopping and pulling over if in a car or on a bike when an emergency vehicle is present.
